SINCE 1986
XD Standard Helidecks.
All-aluminium modular helideck, 40% the weight of equivalent steel. Same engineering platform as XE, without the passive fire suppression layer. Pre-fabricated in Singapore, shipped knocked-down, assembled in weeks.

WHY THIS EXISTS
Steel was never the right material. Aluminium just took time to prove it.
Steel helidecks have been the offshore default for decades. They're heavy, weld-intensive to fabricate, slow to install, and they corrode in marine environments. On a deepwater platform, every tonne of topside weight cascades through the supporting structure, foundations and installation budget.
Marine-grade aluminium alloy delivers the same load capacity at less than half the weight, doesn't corrode, and doesn't require welding to assemble. The deck typically outlives the platform it's installed on.
XD Standard is that argument made buildable. The same engineering platform that underpins our patented XE deck, supplied as a straightforward modular helideck for operators who don't need passive fire suppression.
PRECISION FABRICATION
Engineered to spec. Bolted on site.
Every support frame is fabricated to tolerances tight enough that components fit first time on site. Parts are packed directly into shipping containers and sent to platform, no trial assembly, no dismantling, no rework.
Every XD deck is fabricated in Singapore to tolerances tight enough that components fit first time on site. Parts are packed directly into shipping containers and sent to platform, no trial assembly, no dismantling, no rework.
On site, assembly is bolted only. No welding, no specialist tools, no fabrication risk transferred to the platform. Our supervisors run the install. A typical large deck goes from container to operational in around three weeks.

ENGINEERING ADVANTAGES
Lighter, faster, outlasts the platform.
1. 40% the weight of steel
An S-92-rated XD deck weighs 24MT against 70MT for the steel equivalent. Topside weight savings cascade through every supporting structure below.
2. Modular, weld-free assembly
Bolted construction means fewer inspection hold-points, faster site work, and easy replacement of any damaged section over the deck's life.
3. Three weeks, not three months
A typical large XD deck assembles in around three weeks. The steel equivalent takes three months. The schedule difference is often the budget difference.
4. Outlasts the platform
Marine-grade aluminium doesn't corrode. The deck typically appreciates in residual value, gets reused across projects, and outlives the structure it was first installed on.
WEIGHT SAVINGS
Same deck. Half the tonnage.
A 40% weight reduction at the helideck cascades through the supporting structure, foundations and installation budget.

PRODUCT FAMILY
Two decks. One engineering team. Choose by risk profile.
Both decks share the same fabrication, materials and approvals. The difference is whether passive fire suppression is engineered into the surface.
XD Standard
Same engineering, same modular design, no patented suppression system.
XE Enhanced Safety™
The flagship. Passive fire suppression built into the deck surface.
Choose XD when:
Choose XE when:
Full DIFFS infrastructure is already specified
The platform is unmanned or remote
The platform has on-site firefighting capacity
The application demands strict CAP 437 compliance
Manned platforms with established response protocols
Reducing DIFFS to sea-water-only matters for cost or environment
Budget is the primary constraint and steel-vs-aluminium weight savings are the main driver
Hospital, urban or rooftop deployments with strict fire codes
