WHY ELEVATED IS DIFFERENT

Built once. Maintained never. Disruption avoided.

Public infrastructure has a different cost equation from any other category we build for. The capital cost is one budget line. The maintenance cost runs across decades, falls on a different department, and is paid for by a different generation of taxpayers. Steel street furniture optimises the first number and externalises the second.

Aluminium reverses the equation. Marine-grade alloy doesn't corrode, doesn't need painting, doesn't accumulate maintenance debt. Bolted modular assembly means no welding on site, no hot work permits in occupied urban environments, and no road or pedestrian closures during installation. Damaged components get swapped, not field-repaired.

For transport authorities, environmental agencies, parks departments and municipal infrastructure planners, that's a structurally different value proposition. We've been delivering it across Asia since 2000.

HOW WE DESIGN

Six tests. Every component, every project.

Every street furniture product we develop is tested against the same six criteria before it goes into production.

1. Will it last?

Both as a design and as a structure. We engineer for thirty years, not three.

2. Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Public infrastructure is in public view every day. The aesthetic standard has to match that.

3. Is it easy to replace or maintain?

Damaged components swap out. Whole-of-life cost is a procurement criterion, not an afterthought.

4. Will it install fast?

Public disruption during installation is itself a cost. Modular components, bolted assembly, minimal site time.

5. Have all functions been integrated?

Cabling, drainage, lighting integration — concealed in the extrusion section, not bolted on as afterthoughts.

6. Is it economical to produce?

Bespoke extrusions are expensive to start. Once tooled, they make modular production cheap. We commit at the design stage.

PRODUCT 01

QUICKLOCK™ Pedestrian Handrailings

A modular aluminium railing and barrier system we designed, patented and brought to market. The same proprietary locking technology that secures railings on offshore platforms, adapted for the urban pedestrian environment — bus stops, MRT entrances, road dividers, bridge edges, parks.

What it delivers:

Same proprietary system as our offshore QUICKLOCK product, configured for public-realm specification.

PRODUCT 02

Aluminium Street Signage

We designed an aluminium alloy street signage system for the Singapore Land Transport Authority in 2000. The system mounts onto traffic lights, lamp posts and dedicated supporting poles using a single modular component family. Every sign supplied through it has stayed corrosion-free in service for over two decades.

What it delivers:

Available for procurement under municipal and national signage frameworks.

PRODUCT 03

Aluminium Bus and Taxi Shelters

In 2003, Clear Channel Group commissioned us to "aluminize" their global bus shelter design — originally specified in steel by architect Richard Meier — to suit Singapore's tropical climate. The result was the first aluminium bus and taxi shelter system installed on public roads anywhere in Asia.

What it delivers:

Reference programme: Clear Channel Singapore, 2003.

PRODUCT 04

Aluminium Sheltered Linkway System

Developed jointly with the Singapore Land Transport Authority, our first aluminium modular linkway connected Tiong Bahru MRT to the local bus stop in 2003. Twenty-plus years later, it has sheltered commuters from sun and rain through every monsoon season since — completely maintenance-free, no recoating, no replacement.

What it delivers:

Reference programme: Singapore LTA, Tiong Bahru, 2003.
