2020 has been a challenging year for all but it impelled one to rethink the way forward, to envisage changes and to increase adaptability to new realities.

We are pleased to see the successful completion of Aluminium Offshore’s XE Enhanced Safety™ helideck at Leirvik AS’s Stord yard for the Hod B platform.

Hod B will be the new Normally Unmanned Installation (NUI) as part of AkerBP’s Hod field redevelopment plan.

This is a 26.1m diameter helideck designed for S-92A and AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters and sits on an all-aluminium support structure.

This marks our 20ᵗʰ helideck delivered for the North Sea, with the 21ˢᵗ currently in the making for delivery in Q2 2021.
